About Us

Clovell Pointe Wellness Centre was started in 2005 under the direction and Dr. Lowell Hunter. Dr. Lowell Hunter, a traditional naturopathic doctor, certified colon hydrotherapist and E.F.T. Practitioner ADV, brings many successful years of experience in colon hydrotherapy and naturopathy to eastern North Carolina. Dr. Hunter offers his cutting edge therapeutic services out of new offices in Wilson, NC. Dr. Hunter is a graduate of the Awareness Institute for Wellness in Atlanta, Georgia and S&M College of Natural Health. Dr. Hunter holds a B.S. in Natural Health and a Doctorate in Naturopathy. He has spent his professional career providing holistic health services to many clients in the Atlanta metro area. Dr. Hunter work many years under Dr. J. S. Schlenburg, PhD, Dr. Sue McStuabant, PhD and Dr. Malachi C. Boyd, ND as a student and assistant. He has traveled all over the world learning the power of naturopathy. Such countries as Africa, Europe, and the West Indies. Dr. Hunter has headed several conferences and wellness retreats teaching the art of healing. He has developed many therapies to help with depression, mental disorders, weight loss, pain, stress, sickness recovery and digestive disorders. His name has become mentionable among popular personalities in business and entertainment for his personal touch and knowledge. Dr. Hunter also has overcome personal health challenges through holistic treatments. These experiences with colon hydrotherapy, E.F.T. and naturopathy as a client instilled in him a desire to help others embrace a lifestyle of wellness. Dr. Hunter is passionate and knowledgeable about elevating wellness to an art form, through personalized holistic wellness plans. Dr. Hunter is celebrated as a pioneer in eastern North Carolina's colon hydrotherapy, naturopathy and wellness industry.
